Podiatry service is recognized in western countries such as United States of America, United Kingdom and Australia etc. Citizens there are entitled to receive the services and most of the services are mostly covered by the insurance scheme. In Hong Kong, since the podiatry service is not well known and recognized. Also, there is no such podiatry training school locally in Hong Kong and the number of working podiatrist is minimal. So, you may have to contact your insurance company for about the insurance coverage.
